Using the theme “Crafting Compelling Preaching,” the conference features several theme-related talks, inspiring sermons and a series of practical preaching-related workshops.

Among the featured speakers are Charlie Dates, pastor of Salem Baptist Church and Progressive Baptist Church in Chicago; Hershael York, professor of preaching at Southern Seminary in Louisville; Ralph Douglas West, pastor of The Church Without Walls in Houston; Bryan Chapell, Stated Clerk of the Presbyterian Church in America and former President of Covenant Seminary in St. Louis; and Angulus Wilson, chaplain of Wheaton College. A complete list of speakers is available at www.ncpnow.com.

The National Conference on Preaching has been held annually since 1989 and regularly draws hundreds of pastors and church leaders representing many denominations and locations across the United States.

“This annual event is a strategic gathering point for pastors and others who are serious about strengthening their proclamation of God’s Word,” explains Michael Duduit, executive editor of Preaching magazine. “Participants benefit from the insights of some of America’s finest preachers and teachers of preaching and enjoy engaging with other church leaders.”

The annual conference is sponsored by Preaching magazine (www.preaching.org) and Clamp Divinity School of Anderson University in Anderson, SC. Past conferences have been held in cities across the U.S., including Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte, Nashville, Dallas and Washington DC.
