Alex McCain, a sophomore in the College of Education at Anderson University is a BOLD Excellence in Education Student Scholarship winner.
These awards provide scholarships to high school students and current undergraduate students who plan to enroll and/or are enrolled in a teacher-preparation program at a certified college or university.
The event, which took place April 15 at Children’s Museum of the Upstate in Greenville, South Carolina, recognized BOLD leaders in the community, celebrated veteran and novice educators and awarded scholarships to high school and college students majoring in education.
