Anderson University celebrated its December graduates during a pair of ceremonies on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, during which 288 students completed part of their journey at AU by receiving their degrees.
Two ceremonies were held: a 2 p.m. service for graduate and Ph.D. students, and another at 5 p.m. for undergraduates. Both took place at the Callie Stringer Rainey Fine Arts Center’s Henderson Auditorium at Anderson University.
The new Anderson University alumni included 160 undergraduate students and 128 graduate students, including five doctoral graduates.
David A. Taylor, chief executive officer and president of the University Center of Greenville (UCG) provided the keynote address for the graduate ceremony, and Dr. Bryan H. Cribb, Associate Professor of Christian Studies and Associate Dean of Christian Studies for the College of Christian Studies at Anderson University spoke at the undergraduate ceremony.
Francis M. Crowder, Sr., a long-serving member of the Anderson University Board of Trust, received an honorary Doctorate of Humanities for his enduring commitment to the Anderson University family and service to the community.
