The Baptist Foundation of South Carolina has awarded Anderson University a $10,000 grant to assist in the ongoing operation of The Great Commission Center.

Established in 2015, The Great Commission Center, headed by Dr. Tim McKnight, of AU’s College of Christian Studies, is an effort to coordinate the many mission efforts throughout the Anderson University campus toward meeting strategic goals identified through The International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

For more than six decades, the Baptist Foundation of South Carolina has been serving individuals, churches, associations and institutions of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention in becoming better stewards of philanthropic resources aimed at ministry organizations and enterprises.
