The final show in “The Power of Love” season at the AU Playhouse, A Doll’s House, runs this weekend only, Wednesday through Saturday April 6-9 at 7:30 PM with an additional 2:00 PM matinee on Saturday, April 9 in Belk Theatre at Anderson University. This powerful drama by Henrik Ibsen, the father of realism, tells the story of one woman’s self-discovery and struggle for independence in the male dominated society of Victorian Norway.
This production is directed by theatre department chair and professor Dr. Deborah McEniry and assistant-directed by South Carolina School of the Arts student Erin Christina. It features Cara Ann Hendsbee, Isaac Beckner, Ally Nicole MacDonald, Chandler Pennington, and Craig Smith, as well as several other talented actors.
