Anderson University today announced a program to help students of Argosy University, a system of for-profit colleges headquartered in Atlanta that abruptly closed its doors on March 8.

Faculty and staff with Anderson University’s Online and Continuous Learning program recently conducted a review of Argosy’s academic offerings and identified several comparable programs offered by Anderson.

Dr. Ben Deaton, Vice President of Technology, Online Learning and Innovation at AU, spearheaded the University’s efforts at assisting former Argosy students. He said Anderson is committed to streamlining the transfer process for eligible students, noting that many of AU’s online programs have multiple start dates for adult learners needing convenient options.

“Anderson University’s Online and Continuous Learning programs are designed for the modern learner who expects high-quality and engaging learning experiences on their own schedule,” Dr. Deaton said.

Dr. Deaton encouraged former Argosy students to visit AU’s dedicated web page for more information on their options.

“With friendly transfer credit opportunities and multiple start dates, Argosy students can seamlessly move closer to finishing their degree from a growing and thriving university that has been dedicated to student success since 1911,” Dr. Deaton said.
