Glorious Deeds

Daniel Recital Hall

The South Carolina School of the Arts presents “Glorious Deeds,” a recital inspired by an aria from the oratorio, Samson, composed by Georg Friedrich Händel in 1741. The opening words of the aria are, “Thy glorious deeds inspired my tongue, whilst airs of joy from thence did flow.”  These words aptly describe the “glorious deeds” of Dr. King’s life’s work. This year marks 50 years since his death, and the recital reflects Dr. King’s praiseworthy legacy as a great American hero and international icon of peace.
