Now you can take a tour of Anderson University without leaving home.
Last year, the Office of Marketing and Communication partnered with YouVisit to capture 360-degree videos and photos of nearly every building on campus—inside and out.
The result is a comprehensive, fully immersive virtual tour of Anderson University. It’s a game-changer in helping prospective students see themselves on campus. More broadly, it represents the University’s ongoing effort to extend Great Hospitality beyond campus and into digital spaces, thereby meeting students where they are and broadening AU’s appeal to a new generation of future Trojans.
“Anderson University is truly a special place—from our picturesque, historic downtown to the majestic oak trees that grace our Alumni Lawn. We are blessed to live, work and learn together in this beautiful community, and we hope this virtual tour will give prospective students and families a wonderful first glimpse of what makes Anderson University unique,” said Anderson University Vice President for Marketing and Communications Deonn Baker. “On behalf of our entire Anderson University team, I invite you to explore this resource as you pray about whether Anderson University feels like home to you and your family. “My hope is that the virtual tour will encourage and excite students to want to come visit our beautiful campus in person,” said Anderson University Senior Vice President for Enrollment Management Dr. William Monts. “The virtual tour will give families who live far away access to view campus at any time. I’m also excited that the virtual tour experience gives students who have visited campus an opportunity to go back and highlight things they want to see again and show and tell others about their experience when they visited campus. Also, the virtual tour guides do an amazing job at telling the Anderson story in snippets while emphasizing specific places on campus. Lastly, the virtual tour has the option of being in Spanish which extends our reach even further by communicating in a different language. We hope this attracts students from every location and from every background to Anderson.”
As part of this YouVisit Virtual Campus Tour, along with the imagery of campus, a tour guide reads essential information about the campus, with interactive icons at each location offering users the option to click and launch videos and photos of associated traditions and campus activities.
