Anderson University Online and Continuous Learning today announced a partnership with the Development Corporation of Anderson County to offer tuition grants and priority access to employees and members who are looking to advance their education and develop professionally. The partnership collaboration is intended to provide educational opportunities and serve local organizations within the community.
“In addition to the tuition benefit for our array of strong online and blended academic undergraduate and graduate programs, we offer relevant professional development workshops, on-demand training and customized learning experiences for a variety of industries,” said Dr. Josh Herron, dean of Online and Continuous Learning.
As Preferred Partners with the Development Corporation of Anderson County, members are eligible to participate in these non-credit professional development programs designed to serve the community’s workforce development needs.
All employees and members of the Development Corporation of Anderson County may receive:
- tuition grants up to $475 for full-time enrollment
- early access to any Anderson University Continuous Learning opportunities, including professional development workshops, certificate programs and K12 student camp information; and
- dedicated enrollment counselors and Academic Success Advisors to provide guidance from application to graduation.

Whitaker, Ph.D. “Over the last 10 years, we have been working very hard to not only enhance the student experience on our campus, but also aiming to find ways to more directly support our community.”
