The Enactus United States National Exposition 2014 will be held at the Duke Energy Convention center in Cincinnati, Ohio beginning Monday March 31st through Thursday, April 3rd.
Two hundred and twenty eight teams from all over the United States compete at the national competition. Anderson University’s Enactus team of six presenters, six alternates, and eighteen Enactus students will be traveling to the competition to compete.
“This year the AU Enactus team will be taking more students to the national competition than we ever have before. Our students have put in over 5,000 hours of work for our projects, and our presentation team has been practicing for months all to prepare for this competition,” said Jennifer Price, Enactus team president, “I am so proud of everything our students have done since August, and I can’t wait to showcase all of their hard work in Cincinnati!”
Anderson University’s Enactus team was named League Champions at the Enactus USA Regional Competition held in Atlanta last year and First Runner Up in its league at Nationals. This year the team hopes to advance in placement, and community members can stay updated by checking the AU Enactus Twitter or Facebook page for more information and results.
An upcoming cultural experience program (CEP) event is also being offered, and is open to not only Anderson University students, but to the community as well. This CEP event will be held on April 7th at 7 PM in the Chapman Media Room where the team will be delivering the presentation to any individuals interested.
