Institutional Aid
Transfer Scholarship: $9,000-$11,000 per year
Awarded to first time transfer students based upon cumulative College GPA.
AU Phi Theta Kappa Honors: $1,000 per year; five awards per year Available to transfer students who are U.S. citizens, have a minimum 3.5 GPA, have earned at least 30 semester hours, and can prove membership to Phi Theta Kappa.
Out-of-State Grant: $3,000 per year
Available to any out-of-state entering transfer student.

Boys and Girls State Scholarship: $1,000 per year
Awarded to any first-time entering freshmen or transfer. Must reside in campus housing freshmen and sophomore year, and be named a Boys or Girls State citizen.
Baptist Scholarship
Awarded to any freshman or transfer student that is a member of a Baptist church and presents a letter of membership from the church.
Ministry Vocational Scholarship
Awarded to any qualifying entering first-time freshman or transfer in the College of Christian Studies and pursuing a call to ministry. Contact the College of Christian Studies for application and requirements.
Federal Aid
Pell Grant: Award varies (Maximum award is $5,920 for the 2017-18 academic year).
Available to students who meet financial need, based on FAFSA.
South Carolina State Aid
*Offered only to qualifying residents from South Carolina.
Palmetto Fellows Scholarship: $6,700 freshmen year; $7,500 each following year
Available to entering transfer students who have been selected as a Palmetto Fellow by the SC Commission on Higher Education. Students must earn 30 cumulative hours per academic year and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to renew award.
LIFE Scholarship: $5,000
