Fast Facts

In my classes, dancers explore modern and contemporary movement through interaction, creativity, and reflection. I encourage students to strive for their personal best with a focus on alignment, terminology, and engagement. Along the way, they discover their strength and begin to uncover their unique artistic voice.

I love being part of a Christ-centered university where I can pour into students passionate about the performing arts. AU has a unique collaboration of faculty and student growing together in excellence and artistry.

I wish students knew how many career pathways are open in the dance world. Beyond professional dancer, there are opportunities in teaching, arts administration, ministry, non-profit work, leadership, and creative industries that keep you connected to the art form.

Watching students growing in confidence as an artist, mover, and creator. I enjoy being part of a supportive department that is consistently reflecting and improving.
