Fast Facts

Out class solves musical puzzles. We take complicated problems and break them down step by step into manageable concepts. Musical knowledge is accessed through game show style competitions. We support one another, encourage one another, celebrate one another, and learn from one another.

I loved my music professors. I want to be that kind of encouragement for students. I want students to have a passion for music and an excitement for learning how music works.

Being a musician is more than a job. It’s a lifestyle. It is not always an easy journey, but it is always a beautiful adventure.

I have lead church and community choirs for over 25 years. I have served on conference level worship committees and have been a clinician for music, worship, and church leadership. I have written a number of musicals for children, youth, and adults.

I love working with the talented students at AU.

Freshman music theory, sight reading, ear training, hymnology, church choral literature.
