Academic Background
Dr. Nnenna Igwe, an associate professor of Anatomy and Physiology, is the anatomist and supervisor of the cadaver lab at AU. A physician turned professor whose research interests range from anatomical effects of alcoholism on the human brain, the pulmonary complications of diabetes mellitus and variations in human lung morphology etc. Her motivation in life is her passion for God and compassion for people. She lives in Greer, SC with her husband of over 22 years, Dr. Emmanuel Igwe, and their three sons, Emmanuel II, David and Jesse.
