Fast Facts

My classes are conversationally based. Students do their work prior to class and we discuss the relevance and application of material.

I am passionate about bringing God’s Word to life, to help students not only recognize it’s authority, but also to see its power and relevance for every day. I love to help students see difficult topics such as pain, suffering, and disability from a biblical perspective.

No matter the major or career goals, God’s Word is relevant. He has created each of us for a relationship with Him and nothing else will give us the sense of purpose and fulfillment, aside from knowing Him and understanding His love for us.

Created curriculum for course, A Theology of Pain, Suffering, and Disability.
Presenter at the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) imago Dei Conference, 2025.

I love the students at AU and I love teaching at AU because God is doing great things here.
