Academic Background

Kyle Bruenning is an Adjunct Professor of Music at Anderson University. He has performed across the country in large and small ensembles, including his percussion ensemble, Percussionisms. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in percussion performance from Winthrop University. He also directs the Westside Concert Percussion Ensemble, a group that has been recognized repeatedly through the CWEA and WGI circuits.

Fast Facts

In applied percussion lessons, I work with students to create goals to improve their general musicianship through concert percussion. This includes learning etudes and solos on marimba, snare drum, timpani, concert accessories, and world percussion instruments.
