Academic Background

Julie Bostick serves as the Chair for the School of Clinical Laboratory Sciences and is the Program Director for the Pathologists’ Assistant Program. She received her masters degree from Duke University and is a certified Pathologists’ Assistant and Histotechnologist through the ASCP-BOC. Julie has ample experience in the laboratory and enjoys translating that experience to her students’ learning experience in the program.
She is married with two sons and two fur-daughters. She attends and serves at NewSpring Church of Powdersville.

Our classes cover a lot of material in a short period of time. We incorporate creative ways to review the material covered. We also have a lot of hands-on experience and time in the laboratory which helps to reinforce what we learn in the classroom.
