Fast Facts

I direct the AU Guitar Ensemble, and I teach private lessons and group classes. In my private guitar lessons, students develop their skills in a one-on-one setting with me. This means instruction is individualized, allowing students to explore more personal musical interests and achieve specific goals. Students who take a guitar class learn the basics of guitar playing in a group setting, receive support and encouragement from other students, and have more opportunities for group performances. The AU Guitar Ensemble holds weekly rehearsals and performs in the Upstate each semester. It is made up of music majors and non-music majors, performing a wide variety of music, including classical, Latin, jazz, and more.
