Dr. Fritz Moise joined Anderson University on August 1, 2025, as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry on the Professional Track. After 27 years as an industrial research chemist, he now brings his professional experience into the classroom to help students see chemistry as practical, meaningful, and connected to the real world. Professor Moise teaches general, organic, and biochemistry courses and labs, and he enjoys helping students grow in confidence as they work through challenging material.

After 27 years as an industrial research chemist, I bring my professional experience into the classroom to help students see chemistry as practical, meaningful, and connected to the real world.
My teaching emphasizes student-centered instruction, real-world applications, and continuous improvement in student learning. I hope to help students grow in knowledge, character, confidence, and calling.
Chemistry is at the base of every physical science. So, a chemistry degree gives many opportunities to branch out into other areas of science and succeed in many rewarding careers.
My interactions with students and opportunities to contribute in the growth are the most enjoyable at AU.
