Academic Background
I was born in Trenton, NJ. I was raised in CT and Southern NJ on Long Beach Island. I came to Christ when I was 10 years old and consider my faith a work in progress for sure, as I find God’s mercies and blessings to be renewed each day. My first career was coaching soccer full time at Dallas Baptist University and I was there until 2008 when my wife Lori and I moved us and our two sons to CT to complete PhD work at Springfield College. I have been teaching in higher education since 2011.

The intentional integration of faith in the curriculum is a primary reason I came to AU. Since my arrival, I have found students to be engaged and colleagues to be kind and extremely competent.
Designing and evaluating work, rest, and nutrition variables to maximize adaptations to training. Challenging students to improve as writers, thinker, and doers.
