A native of Lubbock, TX, Channing Crisler holds a BS in History from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. He received his Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX, and his Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Dr. Crisler is a member of the prestigious Studiorum Novi Testamenti Societas (The Society for New Testament Studies). He is the author of several scholarly books and articles.

I consider it a calling to serve Christ by illuminating for students the historical, literary, theological, and spiritual aspects of Scripture.

Both biblical studies and Christian ministry require sacrifice and endurance. Nevertheless, it is a worthy pursuit.
