Fast Facts

Trombone lessons meet one-on-one for an hour each week. We work through solo literature, fundamentals of the instrument, and other musical studies to achieve high caliber tone, technique, and musicianship.

I cherish the opportunity to work in an environment where scripture is a core value and where I am encouraged to be open about my faith. It is also a joy to guide musicians towards professional careers in ensemble and private lesson settings.

Being a music major takes quite a bit of work however, the field we enter into is one of tremendous enjoyment where music is our life. To perform and teach an art form goes beyond words.

In 2019 I was offered jobs to perform with the King’s Brass and within the Navy Fleet Band system.

I love when students have breakthroughs in their performing abilities. There is usually a sparkle in their eye and a new level of passion for the art of playing an instrument.
