AU is a unique environment, full of encouragement and a sense of community. I am privileged to work with such an amazing team of educators, providing many levels of support for our students.

Studying in the arts is about more than learning skill or technique, although that is part of it. Students are equipped with critical thinking skills that will serve them in many types of creative careers.

Teaching and working with students inspires my own work. I am constantly amazed at the ideas and creativity I’m presented with each day. It keeps me energized and motivated in my own studio practice.
