Fast Facts

Engaging, high-energy, intense, fun, a safe place to mess up.

After teaching in public high school and serving as a graduate teaching assistant at two major universities, it is a joy to teach at a university where I don’t have to tiptoe around my faith. Not only can my students and I both grow personally and academically, but we are encouraged to grow spiritually and make a difference in the world for Christ. For me, there can be no higher calling.

Their own individual musicianship is key to all disciplines in music along with having diverse experiences and great flexibility.

Performed at the National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, IN 2008
Performed at the Midwest Clinic in Chicago, IL 2009
Performed at the Southern CBDNA/NBA Conference in Oxford, MS 2010
By Invitation, a 2-week performance tour of China Summer 2011

The students are incredible along with my colleagues, and I get to pour into all of them both musically, emotionally, and spiritually.
