The BFA in Theatre – Acting is intended to release and nurture the creative spirit in the individual theatre-artist through improvisation, intellectual stimulation, and faculty mentorship.
We begin with a foundation in the Stanislavski System of acting and then, in advanced courses, explore the techniques of Adler, Hagen, Meisner, Chekhov, as well as intensive study in Shakespeare, period styles, and movement/vocal techniques including Laban, Suzuki, Linklater, and Berry.
