Music
The Bachelor of Arts in Music is a perfect fit for musicians with ambitious goals and diverse interests. The BA in Music deepens your understanding and hones your skill with a strong core of music theory, history, and individual and ensemble performance. Additionally, you’ll be introduced to contemporary music recording and composition technology and ensemble leadership.

Commercial Music
Performance-based and focused on contemporary styles, our program gives students a background in songwriting, arranging and conducting. We place a strong emphasis on the technology of the music industry and the improvisational skills needed to perform in a commercial environment.

Music Performance
The Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance is designed for students who wish to focus their career on performance and private teaching. This degree requires intensive study in individual and ensemble performance and supporting music courses.

Worship Leadership
Designed for students who are called to full-time worship and music ministry, this program of study is focused on developing the skills today’s diverse church needs. It includes practical field experiences, significant coursework in Christian studies, and thorough musical training. The curriculum embraces diverse musical styles and worship practices.

Our goal is to produce instrumental “musician educators,” graduates who are as proficient as entry-level professional musicians, who have the skill and background to bring music alive for their students, and who are active in music-making in their communities through performing or composing.

Graduate Programs

Master of Music in Music Education
The 30-hour Master of Music in Music Education can be completed entirely online, with optional on-campus workshops and courses offered to address specialized interests of our students' academic and career goals on their schedule. The online degree courses mimic the on-campus atmosphere by providing students with a learning environment in which they can collaborate and interact with the professor and their peers.
