Fast Facts

My classes are engaging, interactive, and focused on practical preparation for the realities of students’ future classrooms. Students are active participants in the learning process through collaboration, hands-on projects, discussions, and opportunities to apply concepts in authentic ways. I strive to create a supportive environment where students are challenged to think critically, develop confidence in their abilities, and connect theory to practice.

I am excited to teach at AU because I believe education is about investing in the future – helping students discover their strengths, develop God-given potential, and become teachers who will positively influence generations to come. My experiences teaching students of all ages from preschool to adult learners have reinforced my convictions that we are all students, and we learn best when we are known, supported, challenged, and given opportunities to succeed. At AU, I have the privilege of combining academic excellence with faith, modeling Christ’s love while preparing educators to serve others with compassion and purpose.

Teaching is about so much more than teaching subjects – it is about preparing children for the future. Every child can learn, and every child deserves a teacher who believes in them. Teaching’s impact will last a lifetime.
