Fast Facts

My classes are immersive experiences in principled public service. Rather than simply teaching theory, I challenge students to wrestle with the real-world complexities that public servants face daily. Drawing from three decades in law enforcement, I bring authentic scenarios where the right answer isn’t always clear—where constitutional rights, community needs, and organizational pressures intersect.

Students learn to think critically about power and its responsible use. We explore what it truly means to serve rather than simply enforce, to lead with integrity when shortcuts are tempting, and to ensure justice is both done and perceived as fair. Every discussion, case study, and assignment is designed to develop the ethical reasoning and moral courage required when you’re the person who must make the call.

If you want to be equipped to serve your community with honor, navigate ethical dilemmas with confidence, and lead in ways that build public trust rather than erode it—then you’ll find these classes transformative. We’re not just studying public service; we’re preparing to embody it at its highest standard.
