Sigma Delta Pi Honor Society

We are home to the Alpha Alpha Upsilon chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Honor Society. As a member of the largest language honor society in the nation, you’ll have the opportunity to access a wealth of resources, including scholarships and leadership opportunities. This organization also boosts your professional portfolio when you graduate from AU and pursue a career or continue on to a graduate program.

Study Abroad

AU partners with study abroad programs in Spain, Chile, and Costa Rica where you will live with a host family and take classes. These immersive programs offer you the invaluable opportunity to experience Historic culture and speak Spanish in a Christ-centered setting.

Viva el español - Spanish Club

AU is home to a thriving, student-led Spanish club that holds monthly events and is an interaction between Spanish majors and the surrounding community. You’ll also have the chance to strengthen your speaking and listening skills outside the classroom through Mesa de español, a conversation-focused meetup with plenty of activities.

American Sign Language Club

ASL Club engages students who are interested in American Sign Language and American Deaf Culture. We provide settings to learn ASL with other students, faculty, and local deaf and hearing citizens of Anderson.
