Located in the Thrift Library, the Vandiver Gallery’s purpose is to mount rotating exhibitions that will support and enrich the students and public by promoting the Visual Arts in our community. The Vandiver Gallery supports the mission, vision, and values of Anderson University.
Vandiver Gallery is not a gallery with a permanent collection on exhibit, but a steadily rotating exhibition space that aims to directly influence our current population. Exhibitions highlight works in professional arts as well as studio-based arts: Graphic Design, Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Photography, Ceramics, and other mediums. Exhibitions are mounted in collaboration with the College of Visual and Performing Arts and have been guided by the Art Gallery Director, Kim Dick since January 2009.
All exhibits, programs, and activities are free and open to the public. The Vandiver Gallery supports our educational role on the Anderson University campus by hiring current students to perform many necessary roles such as public guides, assisting in art installation, and holding open gallery hours.
The Vandiver Gallery is located on the ground floor of the Thrift Library. Admission is free.
