The Anderson University Teaching Fellows partner with the South Carolina School of the Arts to provide a visit to Anderson University for eleven local elementary schools to bring one grade-level to campus. We feature the West African Dance and Drumming Ensemble at this program.
Each year Anderson University Teaching Fellows invite over 1,000 elementary students from our public schools to visit the campus for a special program. For 2020-2021, the Teaching Fellows will partner with the South Carolina School of the Arts for the West African Dance and Drumming program. Dr. David Perry, Chair of the Music Department, directs this group in full costume. This cultural event includes musical instruments and dance that excite all of us!
