Anderson University’s Summer Institute offers students the opportunity to explore an area of interest at South Carolina’s largest private university. Cybersecurity camp

Anderson University’s Center for Cybersecurity will offer an introductory program designed to show students how technology can be used to make our world safer and more secure. This summer’s camp features four hands-on half-day sessions held over two days. Participants will explore real-world computing and technology challenges through activities in ethical hacking, defensive cybersecurity, and digital forensics. Students will learn the fundamentals of investigating computer crime, preventing cyberattacks, and identifying and exploiting system vulnerabilities to better understand how cyber threats occur and how to stop them.

Join Anderson University this summer for a week of dance! Students will spend each morning taking ballet, modern, and jazz/musical theatre classes (with an optional tap offering) under the instruction of Anderson University Dance faculty members and will conclude the week with a Parent Showcase on Friday. Please note this summer camp is available to students who consider themselves intermediate or advanced dancers.

At Anderson University’s Engineering Summer Institute, you will be introduced to STEM education with an emphasis on the exciting field of engineering. This summer’s camp will be comprised of four one-day sessions. Each session will have two distinct parts: an in-depth tour of and interaction with a local engineering industry partner and an engaging, hands-on engineering activity led by AU College of Engineering faculty.

Repertory Theatre

Anderson University’s Repertory Theatre gives young actors the opportunity to develop skills in acting, singing, and dancing under the guidance of Anderson University’s performance faculty and upperclassmen acting and musical theatre students. For young technicians and designers, our design faculty and staff will teach skills in set building, costume design, and lighting. Together, over the space of three weeks, all participants create a full-length musical open to the community. This year’s show will be Seussical the Musical!

Ambassador Andrew Young Fellowship

May 11–16, 2026
Current College Students

The Ambassador Young Fellowship program focuses on six key principles from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life: love, conscience, freedom, justice, perseverance, and hope. Participants will study these principles, which offer a path to unity and peace in a divided world. This program aims to inspire young people to model Dr. King’s teachings and create positive change in their communities.

AU Scholars Day invites top-notch high school students for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about Anderson University. With a selection of academic workshops, behind-the-scenes campus tours, and a panel discussion with key institutional leaders, students will gain incredible insight into the culture and happenings at Anderson University. Selected students for the AU Scholars Program will be notified in the spring.
