Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN), Nursing – Accelerated

Program Overview

The Post-Traditional Accelerated Nursing program trains you to become a registered nurse who can work in pediatric, surgical, adult, geriatric, and other fields of nursing. It prepares you to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and become a registered nurse (RN). The School of Nursing focuses on developing Christ-centered, qualified people to serve a diverse population through the holistic nursing profession. This track will launch you nursing career, open the door to leadership and management positions, and qualify you for graduate-level training in nursing and healthcare. This 15-month track is designed for the individual who has 59 hours of previous college credit or a bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing.

Upon graduating from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, you will be able to search for a job at any healthcare institution that requires a Registered Nurse. You’ll also be able to apply for graduate programs in nursing at the master’s and doctoral levels.

Admission Requirements
A student must have 59 transferable credit hours before enrolling in the ABSN program.
Official 2- & 4- year school transcripts need to be submitted as part of the application process for this program.

Pre-Reqs must be completed before admission into this program with a GPA of 3.0 on the last 59 credit hours and a 3.0 science GPA. Applicants must complete the TEAS test before admission into this program with a recommended score of 60% or higher. An online proctored TEAS test is acceptable. TEAS scores do not expire so older scores will be accepted.
The application deadline for this program is November 15.
