Cierra Bagwell Latest COE Grad Named Teacher of the Year

Cierra Bagwell, a graduate of the Anderson University College of Education, was named Anderson School District One Induction Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020.

Bagwell, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, teaches fourth grade at Palmetto Elementary in Williamston, South Carolina. 

Bagwell is the fourth College of Education graduate since May named as a teacher of the year. She joins Chanda Canup (Teacher of the Year, T.L. Hanna High School); Antonio Scott (AJ Whittenberg Elementary School); and Shian Spaulding (Robert Anderson Middle School) among recent AU graduates noted for excellence in the classroom.
