International best-selling author and popular speaker Dacre Stoker, great-grandnephew of Dracula author Bram Stoker, visited AU November 9 to give a public talk on his famous relative’s family history, the writing of the famous 1897 novel and its continuing influence on popular culture.

While on campus, Stoker also visited Dr. Katherine Wyma’s Literary Criticism and Research class, where he led students in a paleography exercise using  Bram Stoker’s own handwritten notes.
