Coordinator – Human Resources

Anderson University’s Office of Human Resources invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as Human Resources Coordinator. The Human Resources Coordinator conducts the onboarding process for faculty, including background checks, offer letters, database entries, payroll documentation, and benefit selection setup. Key responsibilities also include creating and modifying faculty contracts; assisting with job postings; processing employee status changes and assisting the benefits manager, as needed. This role will assist in responding to questions, resolving issues and provide daily support to HR colleagues, management and AU employees. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining required employee training, assisting in employee orientations, preparing exit paperwork, and managing electronic employee filing systems.

An associate degree and three to five years progressively responsible administrative support experience required. Superior customer service skills and strong organizational skills are also required, as well as MS Office proficiency. Must be detailed oriented and able to effectively multitask while meeting specified deadlines. Training or certificate in human resource functions preferred. Experience with Workday ERP system is a plus. The ability to work in a professional and confidential manner with all faculty, staff, and the community is essential.
