Anderson University cordially invites applications for Associate Dean of the College of Business and Economics (COBE). The Associate Dean serves as a faculty member (rank determined by experience and credentials) with administrative duties overseeing the undergraduate degrees in the COBE. The preferred start date for the position is June 1, 2025.
An earned doctorate in one of the numerous fields from an accredited institution is required, with strong preference to applicants with a doctorate in Business Management, Sport Management, Accounting, Supply Chain, or Economics. Candidates with an earned juris doctorate or out-of-business doctorate will also be considered if at least 15 graduate credit hours have been earned through an accredited Business program. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level is required. Exceptionally well-qualified candidates with teaching and industry related experience will be considered for appointment at an advanced rank (associate or full professor). Only those candidates who have authorization to work in the United States can be considered for the position.
We are seeking a faculty member with a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence in any field or area of study in the COBE. Depending on the needs of the COBE, faculty members may be assigned to teach undergraduate and graduate classes offered at the Anderson main campus, the Greenville campus, and/or online.

Though the primary focus at Anderson University is on teaching, academic research and student advising is also required.
