Anderson University (South Carolina) and the College of Arts and Sciences invite applications for a full-time, nine-month faculty member in the area of Chemistry starting August 2025. An earned doctorate in Chemistry or a related discipline is required; ABDs will be considered. Faculty rank and status (including the option of tenure-track) will be determined at the time of appointment based upon the degrees, experience, and record of scholarship. Screening will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
The faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate chemistry classes in the areas of general and organic chemistry, and other upper-level Chemistry courses in the degree. Chemistry faculty maintain a teaching load of 24 credit hours per academic year, supervise undergraduate research projects, and advise.
