Anderson University’s International Graduate School invites applications for a part-time (28 hours per week) position as Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will directly support the Dean of the International Graduate School and the International Graduate School faculty and staff. Essential functions include assisting with the daily operations of the IGS, in close coordination with the Dean, as well as assisting with the planning and participation of Intensive Sessions. This role will assist faculty with course scheduling, advising, and registration for incoming new and transfer students via virtual sessions. Serving as the initial point of contact for the IGS, the Administrative Assistant will collaboratively work with the university’s Enrollment and Admissions teams, ensuring accurate compliance documentation for CPT, OPT, and J-1 Scholar requests are received. Additionally, this position will input and maintain all departmental data, preparing and generating reports, as requested.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through an associate’s degree and two or more years of office-related experience is required. This role requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs and database software, like Workday. This role also requires excellent oral and written communication and exceptional organizational and time management skills. Additionally, strong customer service skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and maintain confidentiality of information are preferred.
