Believes one of her roles as an educator is to help students learn to confront the challenges and stresses of learning “and to help them push past simple, standard ways of understanding problems, people, and situations.” Also believes the education and development of the whole person, within the context of a Christian worldview, is particularly important in a psychology program “where students can learn to apply critical-thinking and reasoning skills while working in a close knit learning community. Therefore, my approach to teaching is Biblically-grounded, Christ-centered, and student-focused with a goal of helping students learn to think critically and creatively, act responsibly, and serve consistently within the framework of well thought out Christian worldview.”
