Pre-Veterinary Professional Pathway

Program Overview

The Pre-Veterinary Professional Pathway program is designed to prepare you for admission to veterinary school and eventual careers as veterinarians. The program focuses on providing you with a solid foundation in the sciences, hands-on experience with animals, and opportunities for professional development.

The program emphasizes professional development with guidance on veterinary school admissions, mentorship from faculty and professionals, and opportunities for research and community engagement. You will be equipped for diverse career paths in small animal, large animal, and exotic animal practice, veterinary research, public health, and wildlife conservation, contributing to animal health and welfare through comprehensive preparation in veterinary medicine.

Admission Requirements

No previous degree is required to enroll in this program.

Two essays (prompts) OR Official SAT, ACT, or CLT scores

Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
