Program Overview

As a Marketing major, you’ll acquire the experience needed to become a marketing professional who is part of a large marketing and advertising firm, a boutique marketing agency, or a marketing department. You’ll learn strategic innovation to identify key trends in the market and digital media strategies to help increase consumer engagement and brand awareness. This program can lead to a career as an advertising manager, marketing manager, social media manager, or digital marketing analyst.

You’ll learn strategic innovation to identify key trends in the market that will help you determine how to develop new products. You’ll learn digital media strategies to help increase consumer engagement and brand awareness. And you’ll apply these skills to products as you design a live, interactive marketing campaign for a business that you are assigned to.The study of marketing is a great choice for students who desire to be involved with customer-facing activities that help position organizations for success. Specific areas of study include professional sales, advertising, market research, consumer behavior, negotiation skills, digital and social media marketing, and new product development. As well, students will learn how marketing professionals help set the vision of a firm through the establishment of strategic initiatives that improve customer relationships and overall organizational effectiveness.

No previous degree is required to enroll in this program.

Two essays (prompts) or official SAT, ACT, or CLT scores are required during the application process.
Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when the are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
