Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), Leadership: Business

Program Overview

The Ph.D. in Leadership: Business concentration enables you to advance as a scholar and leader in for-profit and nonprofit environments. Prepared to accept high-level positions, graduates of this program will be able to implement and create leadership models that assist organizations in improving and expanding their cultures of leadership. This degree opens the door to a career as a corporate strategist, leadership consultant, executive coach, talent leader, or executive leader.

Students in this concentration can engage in scholarship and research and develop professional competencies related to, organizational structures, leadership strategies, analyzing organizational culture, team and workplace culture development and leading organizational change.

Any master’s degree of 30 or more hours from a regionally accredited institution is required for acceptance into this program.

• Graduate Writing Sample:
Submit one of your former graduate-level essays (term paper, thesis, major project, etc.) that displays your writing ability.
• Statement of Purpose/Research Intent to include reasons for pursuing the Ph.D. in Leadership, including research interests and/or career goals & experiences shaping current research interests or career goals.

The application deadline is one (1) month before a term start date.
