Thom Rainer, President of LifeWay Christian Resources, will be the keynote speaker at Ministry University; a one-day conference hosted Tuesday, May 16 by the Clamp Divinity School of Anderson University.

In addition to Rainer’s two sessions, the day will feature more than a dozen workshops on a variety of ministry topics, including use of technology in ministry, developing a multiethnic ministry, and developing a disciple-making culture. Other workshops will be linked to ministry roles, including sessions for pastors, worship leaders, youth and children’s ministers, and mission leaders.

Rainer, a widely published author, is former Dean of the Billy Graham School of Evangelism at Southern Baptist Seminary. As President of LifeWay, he leads one of the nation’s largest Christian publishers and retailers. His sessions will be on the topic of church revitalization.

“Thom Rainer is one of the most insightful church leaders in America today,” says Michael Duduit, dean of the Clamp Divinity School. “His books and articles have offered critical guidance to churches seeking to be effective in the midst of a fast-changing culture.”

The May 16 program will begin at 9:00 am and adjourn at 3:30 pm. Registration will include lunch and a free book for each participant.

Cost is $99 per person, or a church can register its staff and/or volunteers – up to ten people – for just $195. Additional information and registration is available at www.ministryu.org.
