Students from the Anderson University College of Business came together with Habitat for Humanity to help a deserving family fulfill their dream of home ownership.
Finance students in the FIN 310 class teamed up with visiting Fulbright scholar Larisa Mistrean from Moldova and her daughter Bianca to make a significant impact in their community. On March 16, 2024, they joined forces to frame walls for a new Habitat for Humanity home in Anderson, providing a foundational step towards housing stability for a deserving family. This initiative not only exemplified the spirit of community service but also offered practical experience in teamwork and leadership for the students involved.
This project highlights the commitment of Anderson University and its students to serving and improving the local community through practical and impactful initiatives. The Anderson University College of Business is pleased to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission and are looking forward to participating in more projects in the future.
