Trojan Transit Coordinator

Anderson University’s Anderson University invites applications for a 12-month, part-time, Trojan Transit Coordinator to join the Department of Campus Facilities. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, Liberal Arts University affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The Trojan Transit Coordinator, in coordination and in support of the Director of the Physical Plant, will manage the daily operations of the university’s transit system. The Transit Coordinator will hire, train, and supervisor the transit driver team, developing weekly schedules and routes, ensuring the reservation needs of campus are met. Additionally, this position will create a preventative maintenance schedule for all areas of the university’s motor pool, including transit vehicles, ensure all transit drivers remain compliant with the university’s safety/driving policies, and will be proactive in providing safety improvement recommendations or performing additional duties, as assigned.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through an associate’s degree with 3-5 years of related experience is preferred. Knowledge of federal and state workplace safety guidelines and procedures preferred. Dedication to Anderson University’s mission through all interactions is required. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills essential.
