Anderson University (South Carolina) and the College of Health Professions invite applications for a full-time, twelve-month faculty member with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to integrating faith and learning as an Instructor of Nursing. The position starts in the academic year 2024-2025. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier, comprehensive, liberal arts institution affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
Candidates should be prepared to teach undergraduate courses focusing on the nursing curriculum. The teaching load is 30 semester credits per academic year, including advising, office hours, and one weekly practice day. A minimum master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution that is appropriate for the area of teaching according to accreditation standards by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Minimum two years of clinical experience as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse related to the area of primary responsibility. Hold an unencumbered, active license as a registered nurse in the state of South Carolina or another Compact state. Teaching experience at the appropriate level of nursing education is preferred.
