Graduate Communications Specialist

Anderson University’s Office of Graduate Enrollment Services invites applications for a part-time position as Graduate Communication Specialist. The Graduate Communications Specialist will assist with the development and execution of communication initiatives within the university’s enrollment management system, Slate, supporting the university’s recruitment and enrollment goals. Reporting to the Director of Graduate Events and Communication, the Communications Specialist will serve as a key contributor in planning admission communication and events to graduate constituents. This includes reviewing, conceptualizing, coordinating, and implementing communication plans, short and long-term, that covers the complete graduate enrollment process in print, digital, and electronic formats. Additionally, this position will assist the Enrollment Management Team with communication plans internally, externally, and internationally, recording and maintaining data in Slate, presenting and making revisions as needed to ensure effective communication from inquiry to graduation. Regular Slate training, assistance with on-campus and virtual events, and additional duties may be assigned.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelors degree and 2 years of Technolutions/Slate or enrollment management software is required. Admissions communication/operations or marketing experience is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, or similar web based applications. Ability to track multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure, with frequently changing priorities and proven verbal and written communication skills is essential.
