Financial Aid Data Technician

Anderson University’s Department of Financial Aid and Scholarships invites applications for a 12-month, full-time position as Financial Aid Data Technician. The Financial Aid Data Technician will support the Financial Aid and Enrollment Services teams by analyzing business needs, programming, and developing reports. The Technician will maintain general knowledge of Workday and Workday Student, researching, troubleshooting, and monitoring new Workday functionality releases, providing recommendations to Financial Aid/Enrollment Management and IT Services on how to best implement these new functionalities to ensure program effectiveness and successful completion of university milestones and deadlines. This position will conduct regular audits to optimize existing configurations, integrations, and reports and setup new processes withing the Financial Aid/Enrollment Management department. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree with previous work experience in programming, financial aid, or a related field is required. Prior experience with Workday/Workday Student and familiarity with Federal, State, or Institutional financial aid programs is preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is essential. Candidates with proven ability to think critically, strong organizational skills, and experience working with collaborative groups are encouraged to apply.
