Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology

Anderson University (South Carolina) and the College of Arts and Sciences invite applications for two full-time, nine-month positions in Psychology with a start date of August 2024. An earned doctorate in Psychology is required; ABDs will be considered. Experience teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred. Screening will begin immediately and continue until the jobs are filled. Faculty rank and status will be determined at the time of appointment based upon the degrees, experience, and record of scholarship.

The ideal candidates will have interest and ability to teach some of the following courses: introduction to psychology, human development, statistics, research methods, abnormal psychology, testing and assessment, and theories of personality. The candidates should also have experience advising and mentoring undergraduate students, and an interest or experience in developing innovative interdisciplinary and/or contemporary topics courses for a growing department and university.
